These licenses allow companies to import seeds, cultivate cannabis and produce cannabinoid-rich extracts in Argentina.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Companies_that_have_obtained_a_license\"><\/span>Companies that have obtained a license<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/weedy.fr\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"weedy\">Weedy.fr<\/a>: A French company specializing in the production and sale of legal <a href=\"https:\/\/weedy.fr\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"CBD - cannabidiol\">CBD<\/a> in Europe.<\/li>\n<li>Horus Pharma: French company specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of ophthalmic medical devices, it is now authorized to produce and market therapeutic cannabis.<\/li>\n<li>Raphael Mechoulam and Co: Israeli company led by Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, a pioneer in cannabinoid research and considered \u201cthe father of <a href=\"https:\/\/weedy.fr\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"CBD - cannabidiol\">CBD<\/a>\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Cann Group Ltd (ASX: CAN): The first Australian company to obtain a license for the cultivation and production of medical cannabis, it is now authorized to do so in Argentina.<\/li>\n<li>ReumaSol Association: An NGO which supports patients suffering from chronic rheumatic diseases in improving their quality of life. The authorization will allow the association to directly access therapeutic cannabis for their members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Strict_conditions_to_guarantee_patient_safety\"><\/span>Strict conditions to guarantee patient safety<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To be eligible to obtain these licenses, companies must meet several conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a detailed security plan for protecting the marijuana inventory needed to manufacture the finished product.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate their ability to produce a quality product that complies with international standards and Argentinian regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Respect the limitations imposed by the Ministry of Health regarding the concentration of cannabinoids in final products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This regulation aims above all to guarantee the safety of patients using therapeutic cannabis by avoiding abuse and health problems linked to the consumption of uncontrolled products.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Impact_on_the_Argentine_cannabis_market\"><\/span>Impact on the Argentine cannabis market<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The granting of these first licenses represents an important step in the development of the medical cannabis market in Argentina.
